• Healing, not curing, is the business of the Shaman.
• We look at the root of the symptoms.
• This is not new - this form of healing has been around for 50 thousand years.
• It is an ancient healing practice practiced throughout Asia, Africa, and now in the west.
  
• Shamans are care-takers of the earth.
• We work within a personal sacred space by calling in the directions and heaven and earth to hold us safely.  We call in our spiritual teachers to help us.
• The Shaman dances between the worlds to channel the energy within the body in order to harmonize it with the rest of the world.  (E = MC 2)
• Emotions begin to build within us (like a sludge) and become toxic.  A shaman releases this toxin and balanced the mind, body, the soul, and the spirit.  The   Shaman goes beyond the MD or PhD.
• The Shaman clears the imprints within the soul.
• The shamanic method it is much safer.  We clear and erase the energetic field, we balance out energies that don't belong to you, we can recover a soul part of you that has been lost, we also work with the death rites.

• Currently we are offering Kundalini Yoga, as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
• Typical practice is a warm-up, exercise set, and meditation
  
• Many times a gong meditation follows the practice
  
• We use mantras (songs/chants), mudras (hand postures) as a part of this practice
• Yogi Bhajan was a Sikh (meaning seekers of truth or student of God)
• Small class sizes (at most 12 people per class).
• Serene retreat-like practice space located on 25 acres. 
  
• Mat and blanket provided (if you forget or are new to the practice).
• Private yoga parties available with advanced notice provided.

• Homemade Chai/Yogi tea is served after every practice.  Langar is served Wed nights.
• Langar (a free community meal served to nourish body, mind, and soul) provided after practice.

• Through sitting together and listening to one another with open hearts, we actively educate ourselves to learn and better understand the views and beliefs and the needs of others.
  
• When we open ourselves to recognizing the needs of others and honestly share with others our own needs, we automatically create a spiritual bond that leads to solutions that meet everyone’s needs.
  
• Langar is based upon the concept of Guru Nanak's primal teaching of "Ek Ong Kaar" or there is One God that created the creation and the Creator and Creation are One.
• Sikhs believe in creating abundance, peace, and prosperity for all people.
• Classes are paid by donation (usually ranges from $12-15).  Individual sessions are available as well.
